Ecomotel cheers on riders during Ride Joburg 2025
On Sunday, 26 October 2025, Ecomotel proudly supported participants of Ride Joburg, one of South Africa’s most anticipated cycling events. As thousands of cyclists made their way through the streets of Sandton, the team brought the energy to Grayston Drive, where they had a lively Ecomotel stand set up to cheer on every participant. In addition, the hotel group provided accommodation at its Southgate Branch (a division of Southern Sun) for members of the crew.
The day was filled with incredible spirit and community pride as supporters lined the route, waving banners, sharing encouragement, and celebrating each rider’s determination. Ecomotel’s presence reflected the group’s continued commitment to supporting local events and celebrating the people who make Joburg such a vibrant city.
