Open Day 2026 - SHS South Africa
The Swiss Hotel School South Africa is holding an Open Day on 18 April 2026 from 9am to 12pm for the following courses:
- SHS - Institute of Hospitality Management
- SHS - Institute of Culinary Arts
Step onto the beautiful campus and discover what life at SHS is really all about. Open Days are designed to be relaxed, welcoming, and informative, giving you the chance to explore at your own pace.
There is no formal presentation, so you are welcome to arrive anytime between 9am and 11am. Spend time meeting current students, chatting to the experienced faculty, and getting a real feel for the exciting opportunities available for 2026 and 2027.
SHS students are always happy to share their Swiss Hotel School journey, tell you about campus life, practical training, work placements, and what it is really like to study hospitality or culinary arts with us.
Faculty will also be available throughout the morning to answer questions, discuss career paths in the hospitality and culinary industries, and help you explore which qualification is the best fit for your future.

SHS - Institute of Hospitality Management
- Bachelor of Hospitality Management - 3 years
- Higher Certificate in Hospitality Studies - 1 year
- Advanced Certificate in Kitchen Management (Part-time)
SHS - Institute of Culinary Arts
- Professional Culinary Arts Programme (ProfCap) - 3 years
- Higher Certificate in Professional Cookery - 1 year (Starting September 2026)
