Savour The Romance: A Valentine’s Culinary Affair takes place in Lacuna Bistro on Saturday, 14 February 2026, 6.30pm-10pm. Celebrate with an intimate evening of fine dining and live entertainment. A thoughtfully crafted 6-course menu, where the colours on the plate have been carefully considered, sets the tone for an elegant and romantic night at Lacuna Bistro.
It begins with a beetroot-cured salmon rose with crème fraîche and citrus pearls as an amuse-bouche, followed by chilled beetroot velouté with caramelised gold beets, goat’s cheese foam and balsamic pearls. The entrée is chicken and mushroom tortellini with burnt orange reduction and sage butter.
Rosé sorbet with pink peppercorn brittle will cleanse the palate before the main course of beef fillet rossini with bone marrow, red wine jus, arancini and rainbow baby carrots; or grilled sea bass with saffron beurre blanc, tabouleh, baby fennel and pickled lemon.
Finish with decadent chocolate & raspberry dome, almond praline and gold leaf.
The cost of R1 700 per couple includes a welcome drink, dinner and live entertainment. The dress code is red with a touch of white.

Extend the romance with a stylish overnight escape for R4 140 per couple which includes one night’s luxury accommodation (check in from 2pm Saturday, check out Sunday, 15 February) and breakfast at Lacuna Bistro on Sunday morning.
Sunday’s Love in Bloom: Sunday Society Graham Beck picnic, from 1pm to 5pm, will be a relaxed yet refined garden affair where love lingers long. Sip, savour and soak up the atmosphere with live music, gourmet bites and bubbles on arrival.
The picnic comprises a hot selection of beef kebabs with chimichurri, panko prawns with coconut aioli, seared lasagne with chicken and butternut, pork loin piccata with sauce vierge, and cheese arancini. The harvest table will hold a selection of bread and dips, herby potato salad, pasta salad, traditional Greek salad, and a cheese board with crackers and preserves.
The picnic basket contains popcorn and house-made potato crisps, as well as the desserts: churros, ginger cheesecake, and red velvet opera cake.
The cost is R1 750 per couple and the dress code switches to white with a touch of red.
For R4 190 per couple, the picnic can be paired with an overnight stay, check in on Saturday, inclusive of a romantic turndown and scrumptious breakfast at Lacuna Bistro, and check-out on Sunday.
